Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Your own thoughts and beliefs determine what you see and what you experience.

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home. ~Edith Sitwell

If we begin to acknowledge that we are deaf, that we only hear what we are capable of hearing in a vast spectrum of frequencies, and can only see that which needs resolving and remembering... we will find ourselves on the road to expansion, peace, and acceptance to what IS.

Yes the people of Haiti deserve all our good thoughts. And as much help as we can give. You flower and that second to the last shot are wonders. Beautiful.

Your selection of photos is lovely. I especially like the colorful wildflower field with the trees in the soft fog. Stunning!

You made it so peaceful and understanding that to rebel against it would be stupid and unthoughtful. Remember Haiti, of course.

Wow, your pictures are really good. They look like paintings. I symphatise with the people of Haiti and my prayers are with them. It is indeed a catastrophe that is very painful even to imagine.

Fantastic shots and interesting quotations. The butterfly shot is my favorite.

My thoughts and prayers are with the survivors of Haitian earthquake, and hope they get through this difficult time.

Let us be thankful for the gift of life and for all the blessings....being safe and alive is such a blessing.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
