Microfiction Monday
Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on her name to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.
Here's this week's picture, followed by my story to go with it:
Leaning over the side of the boat, she stared at her reflection in the still water.
Who was she? Did it matter? But there was only silence.

This is awesome. Very clever and it fits the picture so well. I feel sorry for her :( Well done my friend. :) I'm so glad you are doing this :)
This is so melancholy, Sylvia... and beautiful.

Darkest Bridge
This is the best one I've read so far today. Very well done. I have had those moments!
Yes it matters! Quite beautiful reflection in this one.
You have captured the mood of the picture and yours are so sad! Great post and a great idea.
Smiles and blessings Sylvia.
Sylvia;
Really really good and a bit sad as life can be. You captured the picture perfectly!
I'm s glad you're here!
Very reflective in more than one sense of the word. I like it.
Reflective words and great questions! I like this alot. First time I see this meme, Sylvia. Looks like fun.
Nicely done, one of the best ones yet. I think we all have these days.
Snared the downhearted feeling perfectly - looking in the mirror and hoping there's someone staring back. A very nice take on the picture!
I love it.
Oh how lovely. You make me want to know her whole story, with just one little glimpse.
Wow.
thanks Sylvia!
Really very good, Sylvia.
I discover now through your nice post "Microfiction Monday". The characters count is so useful and funny!
Happy new week!
Nice capture. I can't guess but I can sing the song, row, row, row your boast. Love your new layout of your blog.
intriguing and melancholy and oh so well written.
Ooh, I like the self reflection...no pun intended.
That's what's fun about this: one picture, 20 different angles. I look forward to next week's!
