Sky Watch Friday!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren and me. Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week! Click on the post title to be taken to the SWF website where you can sign up.  The skies for today are to help me remember what blue skies in Seattle look like!!  Oh, I know! There I go whining about the weather again!  Well, not another word from me, I promise -- not another one today, but tomorrow is another day!!
All the president is, is a glorified public relations man who spends his time flattering, kissing, and kicking people to get them to do what they are supposed to do anyway.
Harry S. Truman

America's present need is not heroics but healing; not nostrums but normalcy; not revolution but restoration.
Warren G. Harding

Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote.

Conservatives are not necessarily stupid, but most stupid people are conservatives.

Sylvia these are all gorgeous. You have such wonderful clouds against the blue sky. I don't think you are whining when you mention the gray. Too much gray gets old. We've had some nasty weather lately too.

It is grey and rainy here, so glad to see your dreams of blue sky
(and as we head into an unnecessary election, your quotations could easily be transferred to Canadian politics!)

Fantastic series...Can’t wait to get out there this summer. My choice is the last shot in the group with the swirling clouds. It’s an awesome shot. Your political quotes are the best. You really outdid yourself with your selection. They all make lots of sense. Take care and have a great weekend.

Hi Sylvia,

Oh, your clouds are so pretty! I especially like photo #3 (Jesus Clouds). And yes, I'll be happy when we get more sun. Today is pretty here in La Pine though.

Thanks so much for stopping by to say hi.

Take care,

What a fine series of SWF images, Sylvia!

hee hee...The antidote to Mill's quote about Conservatives (he was writing about the British version, 19th century...) is Reagan's "It's not that liberals are ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so."

Lovely photos, my dear. I'm late getting around to blogs this week, but I'm now enjoying both the beauty of the skies and humor of your quotes. Thanks for both!
