Sky Watch #20

Click on the banner to join us and show your skys!

Ever changing and beautiful skies in Seattle. They don't need any words from me as they speak for themselves. How blessed we are with so much beauty to offset the ugly that floods the world, to remind us of what is important.

Great photos, Sylvia. I have so much blog reading to catch up on after our trip, but I started with yours, of course!

I love the magic carpet of tiny clouds being unrolled across the sky in the first one, All are lovely in their own way.

You have been sounding a little despondent lately. I hope it is only the fading light.

Arija, thanks for your concern. The dark gloomy days surely don't help, but I've battling asthma lately and that does tend to darken the view a bit. But it's beautiful here today and I'm feeling much better.

Beautiful series of photos. I lived in Seattle briefly many years ago. I always loved the long twilight skies.

Just dropping by for sky watch! Glorious skies you've captured. My favorite is the last one. I have a special fondness for those twinges of pink. :-)

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
