Oh (sigh) I remember summer. That's when it's warm and sunny and green and colorful, right?

A beautiful reminder. I hope you are staying warm there in the northwest. I've been reading about the deep freeze. Brrr.

The dew drops makes the red rose look so fresh and vivid.
Those are good memories.

Beautiful. Can't wait until we can see them growing around here again. It's going to be a long winter...

In these cold December days, a reminder of the warm summer is always appreciated!

The rose in itself is already pretty, but seeing it with waterdrops made it more pretty.

My Ruby Tuesday posts are here and here. Hope you can pass by, too!

Hi Sylvia - nice rose photo. I actually saw roses blooming here in Portland just a couple weeks ago. Not now though - we're in the deep freeze.

I love looking at your photos of the Sound - I lived around Puget Sound during my growing up years and still have family up there. I miss that wonderful body of water! (But my heart belongs to Portland.)

Have a great week.

P.S. Have you seen any of the photos of Mt Rainier from last week, with the amazing lenticular clouds? Wow. KOMO news has a bunch on their website.

Thanks for stopping by, Terri, and yes, I did see those clouds, as a matter of fact, I posted them for Sky Watch last Friday. If you scroll down you can see them.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
