My World

This is my world without snow and one I am so looking forward to seeing again!

Brilliant sunsets over the harbor!

Sail boats out on the Sound.

Beautiful flowers and colors everywhere!

Lovely pics, Sylvia. I have been thinking that I should photograph the flowers that are still blooming here, so all of our friends in the frozen places can be reminded of what will be coming in spring.

I used to prefer winter but not now. I get colder than I used to and don't enjoy getting out in as much as I did. These are beautiful photos - as usual!

What a lovely set of photos. I don't blame you for giving the snow a miss! LOL After Christmas, it always seems an eternity 'til spring.

Sylvia: I am surprised you are staying so warm but the ocean currents do effect you. those were neat photos.

I do have to say that I miss flowers right now.... There is such a peace that their bright colors bring to my heart.

I can so relate to that sentiment. Lovely photos, and they help me remember what warm weather is like.

You are making me long for summer. It is gray and gloomy here in Ohio and I miss the sun!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
