Microfiction

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the photo or link above to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.

This meme is easy and it’s a blast. Thanks, Susan for hosting.

What do you mean, why has my stomach dropped? It hasn't, it's the style of the dress, you bonehead!
Take a look in the store windows!

I think the link is missing at the picture as well as the 1st graphic. On clicking one just gets an enlarged visual.

Hahaha!
I'm going to visit the Microfiction Monday blog to see what other people have come up with. Sounds like a challenging meme.

Thanks Sylvia, I love your take on it! I know that dress looks more like my figure than I'd like ROFL!

I love this, sylvia. What a cool thing to do. 140 characters is just my speed too. I first read it as 140 words and thought uh-oh, too challenging for me. This is great.

Ahhh! This was perfect, Sylvia. That dress covers big thighs, too.

Oh, that's too funny! And sounds just like what a guy would say to make new year's resolutions fly out the window. :)

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
