Shadow Shot Sunday!

Time to put on your sleuthing hat, get out the magnifying glass and start searching for shadows to share on Shadow Shot Sunday, hosted by Tracy at Hey Harriet! Click on the icon, sign up and start looking for shadows -- even if they are a little harder to find these days!

Had to search the files for this Sunday's shadow shots! The sun has pretty much kept itself hidden for the past week except for one totally glorious sunrise that disappeared within about twenty minutes as it succumbed to the gray once again. So, here's what I came up with for today.

Here is Sir Sam Schnauzer enjoying a little sun on the deck along with Mojo the Most's feet!

The good old kitchen chair and plant!

My favorite deck furniture just before we moved it into the garage for the winter!

The shot that first started me looking at colored shadows!

And a favorite plant in the living room, soaking up what little sun it could find this week!

Great photos; and the Pic of the pretty garden chairs on the wooden porch is SPECIAL:

It's pure GEOMETRY....!!!!
FANTASTIC!!!!!....not only the different types of shadows...the geometric-shapes...the light and dark blacks.....just a marvellous combination of real colours and the fun "shadow geometry"....

have a wonderful and happy weekend, dear Sylvia

Have you reassured Sam and Mojo that they will sit in the sun again, someday?

Lovely shadows...it looks like the plant got some of the limited sunlight to provide for Shadow Shots!
Have a lovely weekend as well Sylvia!

Great shadow shots. I like the shadows of the old kitchen chair and plant. If you scrutinize the shadow of the old kitchen chair, as if you are looking of somewhat a fence with round top and there's a plant in the right side.

Have a great weekend Slyvia.

Nice to see the shadow shots. They also remind me to look more carefully at things and appreciate negative space.

Hello northwesterner. My shots were from a few weeks ago. Had fleeting shadows last week, but ... nice to see the past.

You always manage to find plenty of kewl shadows to share ... love the one of Sam and the dish drainer best today. Tried to catch Molly's shadow today w/o success ... maybe once I get my Nikon back I'll have better luck because I don't have to be so close to her.
Hugs and blessings,

Sam looks tall and proud in his shadow. The long shadow is probably a bit taller than the regal Sir Sam...The chair and plant add a fun look to the refrigerator canvas. The deck furniture, especially the opaque tabletop leave complex shadows. In the Winter, the weak sun makes strong shadows, so look in that direction and shadows appear like magic...

Sam Schnauzer posed for the perfect shadow. No doubt it is from the schnauzer breed! Adorable...and Mojo's feet are a cute addition.
